A Virtual Gym Community is a group of people working together to achieve success and accomplish their goals.  It is the combination of a Fitness Professional, TeamBeachbody Coach, challenge group, support community and informational source for those who join your group.  Sometimes as a coach we have trouble accurately describing what a coach is and does; “Are you a personal trainer?” “Can we train together at a gym?” “Are we just assigned a coach?.  The Virtual Gym can serve as your “home” for all those you are helping.  Much like Beachbody has combined their BOD into a 24/7 all inclusive all access pass, a Virtual Gym combines all of your challenge groups into one place making participation, support and communication easier and more efficient for the participants and you as a coach.  Housed in a Facebook Group my Virtual Gym is organized by Photo Albums full of pictures, information and links.

My Introduction

Welcome to your VIRTUAL GYM COMMUNITY!

I am so excited that you’ve joined our Virtual Gym! Think of this as an actual gym that you will utilize with your programs at home. It has everything you need to get started and to move through your fitness journey.

Much of the information that you need can be found by clicking on PHOTOS, and then ALBUM. You will see various categories, with several photos and links within each album. These albums cover how to get started, using the tracker app, tips on food prep, motivation, personal development, and so much more. All of it is of course optional, but I’m certain you’ll find a few things in here that really support your journey. I will be adding info to a different album each week, you will be notified as it will pop up as a post on our timeline.

Here is what you can expect from me: daily content, motivation, accountability, and education. We are on this journey together, and I am so excited and honored to help you along the way and celebrate your successes! Use the group for questions, but please do not hesitate to reach out to me for personal support or to set up a face to face or video call. I am here for you 100% and want to see you succeed.

Here is what I expect from you: Just like any gym, you need to check in DAILY by posting your workouts, Shakeology, or even if you take a rest day. As we are a team here, I ask that you participate by supporting others and being an active member here. So please please participate as staying connected is key.

When I first became a coach, I was taught by my mentor, Chalene Johnson, that living a healthy, fit and successful life starts with your MINDSET.
Too often we get held back by our self limiting beliefs.
“I can’t seem to stay motivated”
“I’m not a morning person”
“I don’t have time”
“I’m afraid I’ll fail”
But when we learn more about ourselves though personal development, we learn to change our mindset to help us lead the best life possible. I truly believe that if you change your mindset, you can achieve ANYTHING you want? And that’s why PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT is so important. It’s what the most successful people in the world do every day to start their day with a positive, goal-oriented mindset.
As a coach on my team, we commit to reading 15 minutes a day because I strongly feel when we better ourselves, we can better serve others. I recommend reading ‘The Compound Effect’, ‘No Excuses’, ‘The Slight Edge’ or Chalene Johnson’s ‘PUSH’ as they are all great starter books. While this step is optional, reading personal development throughout this journey WILL make a world of a difference!

Directions: Add ingredients into a blender, secure the lid and blend to your desired consistency. Some people like their shakes really liquidy and some like them thick and foamy. I like something in the middle, but I add a ton of ice and water so that the whole thing is far more filling and not quite so strong. Keeps me full for hours and I love, love the taste. Remember to add more ice and more water if you like your shake to be more abundant.

ANGIE’S TOP 4 PERSONAL FAVES!
Chocolate Pudding Shake
1 scoop chocolate
¼ c. cottage cheese
4-6 ice cubes
Milk or water

Oatmeal Shake
1 scoop chocolate or Café Latte
½ pkg instant Quaker lite oatmeal (hazelnut latte or maple brown sugar)
Ice, water

Thin Mint
1 scoop greenberry OR vanilla
1 Tbs. peanut butter
Few drops mint extract
Ice and Water or milk

Cake Batter
1 scoop any flavor
1 TBS sugar free cheesecake pudding mix
Ice
Almond Milk

Shakeology Balls
1 scoop chocolate Shakeology
1 cup oatmeal
½ cup peanut butter
1/3 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla
Mix all together and form into balls. Store in fridge or freezer.
Optional to sprinkle on top:
1 cup coconut flakes
½ cup ground flaxseed
